Şafak Sarıçiçek

Şafak Sarıçiçek was born in Istanbul in 1992. He studied Biosciences in Heidelberg, then Law in Heidelberg and Copenhagen. He is a co-founder of the literature group echolot.heidelberg, In 2017 he received the IGA Berlin Literature Prize, was prizewinner at HALTlose PROSA in Ascheberg and part of the selection for the promotion workshop at the Aargau Literaturhaus in Lenzburg. He won the promotion prize of the Literature Villa Herrenhof in 2018, was a finalist in the literature competition zeilen.lauf 2018 in Baden near Vienna and for the Heidelberg Writers’ Prize in 2019. He is editor of the law review StudZR.
