Simen Hagerup, Norwegen

Simen Hagerup (1980, Porsgrunn) would like to see himself as Norwegian by birth, not by character, has published some volumes of prose, poetry and translations since his first book „Absolutt Alt“ („Absolutely Everything“, 2004). Constantly changing and exchanging modes of writing, ideas and language, he is perhaps looking for a spirit of politics, if not a politics of spirit. Something like that. In addition to the publications he is responsible for some comics, chapbooks, collaborations and miscellaneous work. This fall he publishes his first novel, _Jordverv_, the first in a fantasy trilogy.
